Panda Bear concert last night at Botanique - pics and a video

Some pictures and a video from last nights concert of Panda Bear at Botanique Brussels.

A very echo-full concert with mellowscape songs that got a bit lost in the loudness of the sound.

The layers and sometimes retro-vibe in Mr. Lennox's voice didn't come out so clearly and gave it all a very hard edge.

Some great songs like this Tomboy (first single to his 4th album Tomboy), but maybe I had enjoyed it more in a laid-back and semi-acoustic environment.

Gonna listen to the new album though!

last night's The Word Magazine White Album Launch in Brussels :

It features artists talking about their fear of the blank canvas, professions that still wear white aprons at work and the oldest tennis club in Belgium (members are required to wear white). It also features a snowball collector, a tribute to white socks and an interview with White Russia (the band’s whose song, Charmless State, was used for the teaser).
