When I was compiling one of my recent mixtapes Bow Tie Crush I discovered the crazy-strange and mysterious London producer/artist D-E-W-L. Just 1 song was to be found on the net: Red Velvet. It was an instant classic for me.

Now he's popping back up with the dark-ish remix for St. Lucia's Before the dive!

Tearing the song apart (you can hear some electric machinery in the background) with a constant glitched beat in the back. It makes the song more "busy". A remix to indulge you and your ears into!

Discovery of the weekend : MADEAUX or the sound of now!

Another young and talent full producer emerges from the musical landscape! This time the 19 yr old US producer MADEAUX got me hooked on his most recent EP/collection of new songs. 

Bringing together some post-dubstep, haunting voices and glitchy rNb input mixed together with deformed samples by for example Lana Del Rey (Karma in Reverse), Madeaux makes layered pieces of musical art in the line of "where Ifan Daffyd meets The Weeknd". Heavy on musi-tronical emotions!

But the name Madeaux may also sound familiar to you thanks to the great remix work he did for SBTRKT's Wildfire and Fever Ray's If I had a heart.

Keep an eye on this one!
